BARCELONA CLIMBING CAMP

Join this rock climbing camp and discover some of the best climbing crags around Barcelona. Away from the most crowded areas, you will climb really worthwhile routes on beautiful settings. We will be visiting areas North and West Barcelona.

The goal for this camp is to visit different climbing crags so you develop new skills as you move on different types of rock. Coaching will be provided all the time so you can improve your climbing skills and safety routines.

You will have the opportunity to climb on different types of rock: limestone, conglomerate, sandstone and granite. So climbing style will be very varied: tufas, pockets, slab, crimps...

For the beginners we will organize a series of workshops for you to improve all aspects of rock climbing: safety tips, belaying, technique, self confidence, falling…

The most experienced climbers will have the opportunity to climb the best lines of the crag, tips and advises will be provided according to your level and climbing preferences.

We will be based in Monistrol de Montserrat a beautiful village just 1 hour train ride from Barcelona. The village is at the foothills of the magical Montserrat Mountain. The accommodation will be in an apartment shared with the group and the guide.

PROGRAM

Day 1: Meeting at Monistrol de Montserrat train station. Climbing in Montserrat.

Days 2 and 3: Climbing around the area depending on the group.

Day 4: Rest day, we can visit the Mountain of Montserrat and the Monastery. If the group is very motivated we can also climb!

Days 5, 6 and 7: Climbing in different areas or repeating some to complete projects. 

Feel free to adapt the trip to your needs. Maybe you want to spend more days or make it shorter, just focus on a couple of crags and work on routes or visit as much different crags as possible. Feel free to propose us your wished climbing camp!
